Advanced Leakage Protection for Modern EVSE
The EKCA Series is explicitly designed for electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE). Operating on a standard 5VDC supply, these sensors offer reliable and compact residual current monitoring for wallboxes, portable chargers, and public AC charging stations.

To match different safety standards and system architectures, the series is divided into two core versions:

  • MD Version (DC Detection Only):
    Provides precise DC 6mA residual current detection. Ideal for EV chargers that already have separate Type A AC protection integrated into the system.

  • PD Version (Comprehensive AC+DC Detection):
    Delivers combined DC 6mA + AC 30mA residual current detection. Perfect for advanced charger designs requiring robust, all-in-one leakage protection equivalent to Type B characteristics.
